My Actifit Report Card: September 29 2023
Hey Actifitters,
To finish the work week, yesterday was another routine day. Just like the day before, Kaia seemed to still be in more pain than before. At least it was partly sunny, so hanging out in the backyard was nice.
During one of our breaks, Kaia was pretty excited, I quickly understood why: a group of deer, most likely the same one as the day before, was having a meal in the front yard.
They crossed the entire yard to go back to the forest.
Not without a few more snacks of course.
That was my cue to go for a short walk in the forest and the neighborhood. Still pretty low on the fall colors.
But there's a few beautiful trees.
On the East side, the evening sky was beautiful, hopefully a sign of sunny weather for the week end.
At night, Kaia looked a bit better, but still in pain, because she was clearly not as playful as usual after her dinner.
On to the week end now! Hopefully the sunny forecast is correct and Kaia gets better.

I hope Kaia heals soon, the Mrs just told me Kaia has simular to an ACLS equivalent in a human.....
I don't think I would be playful either, it will take time...
Thanks! This group of deer shows up in our year almost every day! Maybe they can feel Kaia is not in the yard as often as usual, or maybe they just don't care!
It's only been one week since her surgery, so it will definitely take more time, at the very least 8 weeks until she can start running again.
