My Actifit Report Card: September 7 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Another pretty uneventful work day yesterday. Le Chat decided she wanted to spend time indoors for once though. And apparently she needed lots of rest! Must be good to be a cat!
In the afternoon, the weather was mostly grey, but the good news is the temperature was finally decreasing. Hopefully we're done with summer. Of course, I spent time with Kaia in the yard.
Even injured, she can't help it, she has to monitor the yard and make sure no critters can intrude.
And once again (I know, it's getting a bit repetitive...), I added some extra steps in the little forest next door.
I used the opportunity to try macro photos.
But just with a hand-held phone, that's not so easy. It can get very blurry quick, especially when the light is a bit low.
At least I managed to get my step count a little higher, but without long walks with Kaia, the 20k days and more are long gone now.

Thanks! I am not even sure she knows why. Some days she just decides the carpet softness is good, some others she prefers not. She's the queen, she does what she wants!
Yeah, Kaia misses the walks, but so far she's handling the inactivity better than I thought. Not sure about 10+ weeks though!

In summer, it's pretty rare for Le Chat to stay inside. She just shows up for food once in a while and goes back to the yard or the forest to hunt probably. But sometimes she just decides to stay with us.
The weather is much nicer indeed: comfortable during the day, and almost chilly at night. Hopefully, that'll stay like that until winter.
