My Actifit Report Card: September 3 2023
Hey Actifitters,
After a nice concert on Saturday, we were back to a slower day on Sunday, with our new routine I guess. First we spent some time with Kaia and Le Chat in the yard. It's probably the best way to keep Kaia's sanity in the absence of walks.
Kaia does seem as though she really doesn't sleep enough!
I added again a few more steps in the tiny forest behind the backyard.
In the evening, in spite of the heat still very high, I decided to go for a short run. The sky was beautiful when I started. It was even better on my way, too bad I never carry my phone on runs.
And that was it for the day. No specific plan for Labor Day, probably another slow day, especially with the heat still on the forecast.

We know she only pretends, she's a good cat! Everything went pretty fast for Kaia, and the surgery is already planned in two weeks. After recovery, she should be back to normal activity, 🤞

It's great that you're spending time with Kaia the backyard. I think that is a very good idea for her if she can't go on walks with you yet. Yay for your visit to the woods behind your house, and for the run! That sky is gorgeous! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Thanks! Yeah, keeping Kaia calm will probably be the biggest challenge after the surgery, long breaks in the yard (on leash in case of squirrels or deer visits) will be the best option.
The colors in the sky were really unexpected, I almost regretted not going for a walk with my phone, instead of a run.
