My Actifit Report Card: August 16 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday we were back to our normal workday routine. Once again I miscalculated and we started our daily walk with Kaia a bit too late to catch the whole sunset. The colors in the sky were so vibrant though.
Kaia had a short break there and she looked okay so far, no limping.
So we followed the golf course fence for a while.
And after a bit of hesitation, I decided to extend our walk all the way to the forest. On the way, as often, we met a few deer. This one stood absolutely still when he saw us. Only his head rotated a little to keep his stare on us as we passed.
Since it was getting dark, we didn't stay too long in the forest, just enough to check a few of the trails and for Kaia to stretch her legs while off-leash.
And that was it for the day's activities. Like I said, nothing really out of the ordinary, but a nice easy day.

Thanks! No real change for Kaia unfortunately, but she doesn't seem to limp during our walks, only at home, mostly when she gets up after some time. Yeah, sunsets are just my favorite!

Thanks again! The limping varies but yes, it is mostly after she stays sitting or laying down for a while. It seems to get worse in the evening too. We Have another vet appointment for something else in less than a couple months, we'll see how she is by then.

Beautiful deer indeed. But they're getting so used to humans (not a good thing), you can sometimes get pretty close before they finally flee.
