My Actifit Report Card: July 29 2023

Hey Actifitters,

As often on Saturday, yesterday started a bit late again and the first real activity was an afternoon walk with Kaia. But when we arrived at our usual forest entrance, we found it cordoned off. I guess with all the fallen trees from the storms, the City wants to play it safe, and also avoid any kind of liability.

Kaia was like "What are going to do?..."

But we found another small entrance that wasn't closed.

That was an opportunity to visit some parts we don't go to very often and to meet Mr Tree (on the cover photo). Glad to see he's still standing, although he might have grown a second mouth.

We also found some interesting items, including these bones. Maybe from a deer because they're too big for other critters.

When we got to the playground and main entrance, that was also all cordoned off.

Of course it would have been easy to get around, but we turned back because I also wanted to see if they started the clean up of the fallen trees. And to my surprise they did. Still a lot to do, but they made good progress in just one day.

Kaia spotted that our usual exit was also closed, so we found an alternate again.

A few hours and several espressos later, I decided we should go for another walk to catch the end of the sunset.

When we walked back home, the Moon was beautiful. I spent some time snapping photos, and there was a couple I liked. Didn't even need any editing at all, although the first one is a bit darker than I wanted.

And that was it. Quite usual Saturday, late start, but efficient and active few hours.
