From sunrise to sunset - My Actifit Report Card: July 23 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Unlike most Sundays, my day started very early yesterday. Not because I got up early of course. But before going to bed, I saw daylight outside. I figured I'd better go for a walk then, when the temperature is cooler and there's even a chance to catch the sunrise for once. So we went to the forest with Kaia.

She seemed a bit confused by the early hour, but she quickly got over it, and started chasing critters.

It was very nice to walk at that time, very quiet. Even the birds were still sleeping, mosquitoes weren't though!

We saw the sun trying to make its first appearance through the leaves.

And finally our first local resident, probably just waking up.

We timed our walk back home with the sunrise. It was just rising above the trees.

Just as we got close to home, it was shining bright, and it was time to go to bed!

Much much later in the day, after too little sleep and a few things done in the house, we went for a second much longer walk. We started again in the forest. But instead of the first rays of sunshine, it was almost the last ones.

No matter the time, it's always good time for Kaia in the forest!

After quite a long exploration of the trails, we went back to the streets, as the sunset started.

We made a few detours for different views.

And of course we made one more stop near the golf course, it's almost inevitable!

Until the sun disappeared behind the trees like every night.

And that was it for the day. In spite of an unusual schedule, it was a nice and active day with plenty of steps. Perfect to end the week end.
