My Actifit Report Card: July 1 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Even though I went to bed way too late once again, I knew I had to get up early yesterday to beat the summer heat. So by 9am we were out the door with Kaia. The sun was already shining bright and hot though.

So as often we went directly to the forest to enjoy the shade.

Even in the shade, it was getting hot, but we walked all over the trails.

Just before leaving, we heard this huge noise. Not sure why, but it made me think of iceberg calving noises. Obviously it was branches. Kaia went to investigate.

It could be these branches but we weren't exactly sure.

After that long walk, I stayed indoor for most of the day, to avoid the heat and the storm, and that included a needed nap. But much later in the afternoon, we went for another walk to the forest. It was still pretty hot, but the storm stopped.

We finished our walk as darkness fell. No real sunset though.
