My Actifit Report Card: June 10 2023
Hey Actifitters,
With the heat back yesterday, I had to shuffle around our usual schedule. I got up much earlier than usual for a Saturday, and we went for a walk to the forest with Kaia before it got too hot.
The sun was out again, but the shade in the forest was great to stay a bit cooler.
As usual, Kaia went after anything she could see or smell.
But she quickly realized it wasn't really worth it and just gave up. It was getting too hot to waste any efforts anyways.
We did walk a while longer though, and explored several of the forest trails.
We also met this same group of cats from last time. I'm starting to think they have meetings every Saturday morning! The same one (or one very similar) held his ground while others fled, and let me take a picture.
After the walk, I went back to bed for a few hours, it was too hot outside for my liking anyways. Later in the afternoon, I did have to spend time outside, with all the yard work I needed to do. I really wanted to get done with it, before the rain in the Sunday forecast. I finished all I wanted just in time to complete the day's activities with another sunset walk with Kaia.
We even stopped by the golf course, but only the final colors were still there.
All in all, a nice and active day, in spite of the heat. And quite a few steps as a bonus.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. Yeah, that cat looks like Le Chat, just slightly shorter hair, maybe a sibling that didn't have the chance to be found and adopted by humans. Of course I love sunsets, but they're not exactly my fave time, the one just before it: I'm really a night owl.

Thanks! With the afternoon nap, that is still not even 6 hours of sleep in total, but it's much better than most days. I really need to change something about my sleeping habits (he says at 3am...).
Last couple days weren't hot at all, chilly even, so much nicer!
