My Actifit Report Card: June 6 2023

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday I managed again to get up earlier for a morning walk with Kaia (spoiler alert, this was the end of the streak because this morning I failed). The sun was out but it was already hazy.

On our way to the forest, we were witness to a funny situation: a fight between a deer and a tiny yorkshire. With Kaia really wanting to join the party, I just couldn't take any picture though. We quickly moved on anyways.

As often, as soon as we arrived in the forest, Kaia went nose to the ground, looking for any new scent.

She did look everywhere.

And finally she found squirrels that she chased of course. She came back a few minutes later, predenting she didn't do anything wrong.

A typical walk in the forest I guess. On the way back, we met this yorshire again. Much less funny this time: the deer was gone but the tiny dog crawled under the fence gate and rushed straight at Kaia. Obviously there was no danger for Kaia, whose head is bigger than that dog, but in dog language, that's really rude. Luckily she didn't react too much even when it went all up in her grill. Again we moved on quickly while the other dog went on to visit the neighborhood. Back home, Le Chat was waiting for us, and gave us that weird look. Not sure exactly what she's trying to say.

Rest of the day was pretty busy with work, including a super long meeting that ended after 8pm. That made us late to catch the sunset. We did get the very last part, still showing these pinkish colors, due to the haze.

After the sunset, we just walked a few more miles in the neighborhood and called it a day.
