My Actifit Report Card: May 27 2023
Hey Actifitters,
It's getting a bit too hot in here, which is weird because just 3 nights ago, we had a frost advisory! So yesterday I got up a bit earlier than usual for a Saturday, so we could avoid the heat. With Kaia, we went directly to the forest to stay in the shade. When we got near the entrance, the squirrel lookout gave us the evil eye and warned the others.
So we kept going and entered the forest.
Kaia looked everywhere for other wildlife.
But all we could find was this chipmunk that was hiding under the leaves. And like I already said, these are just too fast for Kaia.
So once again, we kept going and finished our tour of the forest trails.
Back home, we found Le Chat just lounging on the deck. Honestly, with the heat expected for the whole week end, I felt like just doing the same, but in the house where it's cooler.
I went for a BBQ later but with that heat, I wasn't even hungry. I guess having my breakfast at 5pm didn't help either. Anyways, I'm getting worried, it's not even that hot, and Kaia and I are already suffering. Summer's going to feel really long I am afraid.
