My Actifit Report Card: May 10 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Still a sunny day yesterday, and another typical workday. At least, we managed to leave earlier for our long walk of the day with Kaia. That means we had time to go to the forest first.
Kaia was disappointed because all the flooded areas, including the main dirty water pond, were mostly dried up.
But that made exploring the trails easier.
I'm still monitoring the Lily of the valley situation. We're getting there, it will be very cool soon.
We walked quite a lot in the forest, and we reached one of the exits as the sun was getting low on the horizon.
At that point, I had two choices. Either go home, suit up and go for a run. Or extend the walk and possibly catch the sunset. Because I had a bit of a stomachache, I chose the latter. Running would probably have made it worse. So we added at least a couple miles, catching some good sunset views at the same time.
And of course I had to include the golf course in our route back home. I just can't get enough of this scenery.
Probably a good decision not to run, because that was a good walk and I know Kaia enjoyed it too.
