My Actifit Report Card: May 7 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday morning was very rainy from what I heard. But I didn't mind, because that's when I sleep! In the afternoon when I was ready for some activities, it had all cleared up, the sun was out and of course we went to the forest.
It was kind of hot, at least for early May in Michigan, so I let Kaia have fun in the water, even though it's most likely very dirty water. She really enjoyed it, burying her entire head underwater!
But it was time to shake it off and explore the forest trails.
It's getting very green out there. Like I often said, I'm more of a winter guy, but all that green is also cool to see.
Kaia decided she also wanted to visit one of the big teepees again.
We stayed there a while roaming around the whole forest before walking back home.
The weather got even sunnier and it was again perfect for espressos on the deck.
Le Chat was in a very playful mood for some reason, I guess she enjoys spending time in the yard with Kaia and me.
I decided I just couldn't not go for a run. I did try to find excuses, but I just couldn't! So I went for a short run, my first one in three weeks. I was back home just before it got dark. As usual, Kaia was very happy to see me back, while Le Chat seemed like she really couldn't care less.
A nice day to end the week end. And a proof it's a good thing to get up late on week ends! Let's hope we get more of that weather for the new week ahead. Not as warm would be ideal though.

Thanks! Yeah, she's a funny one, a goofball most of the time! It wasn't super hot yet (especially compared to the temperatures you mention sometimes), I think Kaia just likes the water. Yes, this forest nearby is quite the breath of fresh air when we need it (and we need it often).
