My Actifit Report Card: April 20 2023
Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday weather was still grey, at least at first. But a bunch of deer invaded the yard again, it made it more colorful!
They were at least 5 inside the fence and another 5 just behind the fence. I stayed there observing them for quite a while, while Kaia was stuck inside of course.
I didn't scare them, but after some time they finally decided to leave. The sun showed up around the same time.
It was time for Kaia to inspect every inch of the yard.
Now that the yard was safe again, Le Chat also showed up, pretending like she was there the whole time to protect the territory...
The yard was quite popular that day because not long after this guy also showed up. Kaia really wanted to say hello but I didn't let her.
As we spent quite some time in the yard, I didn't feel too bad skipping Kaia's long walk again. For 4/20, even if none of us smoke weed (at least not anymore), we had planned to go see The Big Lebowski re-release. 25th birthday of that movie! It really aged well in my opinion, still really funny, even sober!

I think the animals that you have a lot of are really good because animals now seem to lose a lot if we do not take care of them, they could become extinct.have a great day.
It's really just a dog and a cat, other wildlife just visit our yard sometimes. I see what you mean, and I agree, but I can tell you these deer will not go extinct any time soon, so many of them in the area!

Quite the barrage of wildlife! The deer are cute; the turkey-well is that the only one you see or is there a flock? I could tell you some turkey tales of when we had a whole flock who just loved our house! It was crazy!

Not sure about the turkey. I saw one twice in a week, but I am not sure it is the same one. Probably I guess. Today Kaia saw it through the window, and I could hear her growl, which is very rare. Silly Kaia !lolz
A flock of these big birds would be scary!

Well......I used to be caught off guard when the flock that hung around us, were all lined up outside the patio door looking in. I then knew what all the zoo animals felt like!
Then, there were the couple of times I had to save our Blue Healer/Dalmatian from the wrath of a mother turkey protecting her young as our dog got too close to the babies.
And, then the time the male turkey had attacked us one too many times! My son who was around 14 then, chased that tom turkey around and around the house with a sheet until he caught it. He wrapped the turkey up in the sheet and laid in the yard petting it for 30 minutes. After that, the turkey never attacked us again!
Hope I made you laugh, but all this is true! Take care and watch out for those turkeys!!🦃🦃🦃🦃
