The vipers came searching

'Everyone to the safe room now!' We were having a family time when I went to the kitchen and noticed a full bus of armed men parked outside. I knew they were here for me because I was the one more involved in deep shit and if they couldn't get to me directly, they'd go through my wife or my kids. 'Maintain absolute silence and don't come out till I come to get you, clear!' They nodded in adherence. I closed the door behind them. The security system in the house was very tight but that of the safe room was tighter. It wouldn't open even if you blew up the whole house and it was hidden. I went to my room and got my gun, reloaded it, turned off all the lights in the house and stepped slowly down the stairs. The men were about eight, I could handle that. They seemed blind because the lights were switched off and they didn't carry torches and so, it was easier to eliminate blind people, I smirked.

I grabbed the first man from behind, gave him some punches and shot him in the neck, the other men came running towards the gunshot sound. Gosh! They lacked expertise, eventually I eliminated all of them and there wasn't time to lollygag. I shifted the bodies of the dead men because I didn't want my kids to see such. When I finished with that, I sat for a minute and thought, first, where could I keep them because clearly, it wasn't safe here anymore and secondly, who were these people and what did they want. I had to get some form of identity. I searched the bodies and found something. A viper tattoo which was similar to the one I had on my chest. Hilarious! so the vipers came searching for me. I had a kinda entanglement with them many years back and I resigned and they accepted my resignation so why would they come back for me twenty-three years later. I got my family out of the safe room and headed straight out of town to my other house which was designed for occasions like this.

I kept them there and told them I'd be back. I grabbed my wife, hugged her tightly, then looked in her eyes, they were darkened with fear, she was trembling, 'wh..what's going on Bunny?' 'I'd answer all your questions when I get back, love, just stay put and don't go anywhere even if you hear a news or not, don't answer any phone calls, intact hand over your phones please', I got all their phones 'I love you baby and I'd be back for you'. I hugged my kids and headed on out. I headed to where I could see the vipers, it was their favorite night club. I got there and I saw Spiro, the leader. I tried approaching him and his bodyguards stopped me, when he noticed it was me, he told them to let me through. 'Oh! Cauly my boy! I knew you'd come. Have a seat'. I was already breathing heavily. I was at the peak of my temper. ' I haven't come here to take a seat or have a chit chat with you, tell me, what do you want from me?'. 'I see, you have killed the guys I sent over to your house, that's why you didn't get the message.

I'd advise you to go back home and find out for yourself. Just this one last time. After now, I'd let you go, deal!?, 'I'm having no deal with you. You had better keep to your words spiro!. I dashed off and headed home. I searched the bus the men came with and I saw a box, I studied the box to ensure it wasn't a bomb before I opened it. I opened the box and I saw a note in it. So much effort for just a small note. It read 'Drille Hanford. 19a brixton. Terminate him!'. That was it. I was supposed to kill a man again when I resigned. I got prepared to head for brixton the next day, but somewhere along the line something changed.

I changed gear and headed to the vipers headquarters. I'd rather kill the vipers than kill others because if I kept killing for them,they'd keep requesting and when they got tired of me, they'd kill me too and so, plans changed, I smirked. It wasn't going to be easy, but I was ready for it. I got to the headquarters and asked for an audience with Spiro to clarify some details and I was granted a private audience. If I kill Spiro, it will all end. I put a silencer in my gun and gave Spiro a head shot. I came out, closed the door and told them that Spiro said he needed personal time. I left the headquarters and went back to my family. When news that Spiro was murdered got out, the whole world rejoiced. This marked the end of miseries for some people and a new beginning for the others, but me, I was right where I wanted to be, with my wife and kids.
