Sunset in the desert

Hi friends!
We were lucky enough to watch the sunset in the heart of the Negev desert. This is a unique place: a small town near a huge makhtesh.

Here I look at the town, and the makhtesh is behind me. If you do not know what a makhtesh is, then I will explain to you.

This is a huge natural crater. Such craters arise as a result of the long work of water and wind (erosion).

There are only a handful of them in the world. We came here specifically to photograph the sunset and the stars in the desert.
