Heavy Hitters Ruleset - Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

Welcome to another one of my posts for the Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge!

This week's ruleset is Heavy Hitters. The Heavy Hitters ruleset grants all units the Knock Out ability.

The Knock Out ability allows a unit to deal double damage to a stunned opponent.

After a long wait, this ruleset has finally appeared.

Battle Rules

• Ruleset: Heavy Hitters and Ferocity
• Mana Cap: 19
• Active Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Life

My Team

• Summoner: Aquatus (Ability: Backfire)
• Tank: Cruel Sethropod
• 2nd: Deep Lurker
• 3rd: Uraeus
• 4th: Pelacor Bandit

Opponent's Team

• Summoner: Kelya Frendul (Buff: +Shield, +Speed)
• Tank: Mantaroth
• 2nd: Kulu Swimhunter

Round 1

No units were defeated in Round 1, but my tank took damage, and the opponent's second position was also damaged.

Round 2

My tank was defeated, so Deep Lurker moved to the tank position. The opponent's second position ranged attacker was defeated, leaving only Mantaroth. It's now 3 vs 1. Deep Lurker poisoned Mantaroth before taking the first position.

Round 3

Deep Lurker has only 1 health left, and Mantaroth has 4 health remaining with a shield. Luckily, Mantaroth was poisoned, ensuring its health will be reduced.

Round 4

The opponent was defeated as the poison activated and my sneaker units also damaged Mantaroth.

Conclusion

To activate the Heavy Hitters rule, you need a unit with Stun, but for this element, I didn't have a stun-capable unit to use.

Although I wanted to take advantage of the ruleset, my priority was winning the battle. I also anticipated that the opponent might use a unit with Stun, so I chose a low-mana tank to field more backline units with Sneak and Opportunity attacks. This way, if the opponent had a unit with Stun, my Sneak and Opportunity cards could quickly defeat it.
