Cot has a food issue. Whenever we come or go, he thinks he has to eat. Now, keep in mind, we may be going in and out of the house multiple times a day. Every time, he thinks he needs to eat. So, we have begun picking up the food and putting it out of reach so he can't eat every time. The only problem with that is that I have another older kitty who is a big boy, but is lanky and needs to eat when he wants. The problem arises in how do you keep the food from one, but let the other eat? Ironically, Cot is extremely active, rocketing through the house at the speed of light despite his size. So much so, I jokingly call him 'Little Horse'.
It is a concern; we are trying to help him not to eat so much. Otherwise, he is a very active and healthy kitty!
Thank you for your concern. Have a lovely day!
I am glad that Cot is a healthy cat and I am sorry I mixed his condition with Barb's nephew's dog called mister cause she told me he has health issues so I thought your case might be the same with your cat. Thanks for clearing it up.
No worries; I do worry about him. It's not good for him to be that big, but as long as he's active and we keep putting the food up when gets a foodie craze coming on, then he's good. If anything were to change, off to the vet he would go!
Take care my friend!🤗
