Wilderness, Iceland - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

One of the most photogenic places on Earth I have ever visited.

With its specific wilderness harshness, initially it looks cold, some may even say repulsive or even forbidding, but after some time one sees its unique beauty and magical attractiveness!

Moreover, even with the millions of tourists visiting this small island country, it is still never overpopulated!

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything.

Couldn't agree more, B&W brings out the details often overlooked.

Have a great evening. 😃 !PIMP

Great selection of photos you put together. That looks like an amazing place indeed. But I personally think I would prefer the colour versions of the images to be able to see all the nature colours! But that is just my taste. Still Amazing photos and really beautiful.

Thank you!
What I really love about B&W, as nowadays it is an artificial layer of abstraction is exactly that - by removing the colors this allows everyone to use their own imagination and fill in the missing colors :)
