Types of Freedom - my entry today to the #monomad daily contest by @monochromes

There are so many different types of freedom.

Some of them - relative, some - absolute.

I'd say, those, I just called "absolute", are those that nobody can take away from us. For instance, the freedom to dream. Or the freedom to travel virtually in our thoughts. To real or imaginary destinations. Some even claim that our thoughts, believes and dreams are the strongest driver towards what happens in our reality.

Let me try today to visualize with a few of my travel Black and White photos, some of the other, "relative" types of freedom.

  • To follow our passions
  • To meet people with similar vision of life
  • To blend with the vastness
  • To build something that nobody needs
  • To abandon things
  • To be close to Nature and avoid and ignore all the complexities of the modern world
  • To change the environment
  • To be more independent

Of course, all these could have positive or negative effect on ourselves and the other people near us...

The reason to share these bullet points with you is that I work on some of those listed above :) But let's not delve into more details today and just enjoy those mono-pictures :)

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!

Good photographic work, I like the texture of the photographs, but I especially like the second photograph, for the composition together with the horizontality of the framing, perfect for landscapes. Greetings !
