Scales and Perspectives
Greetings, fans of the Black and White Photography!
It is really impressive how our personal perspective or our point of view changes everything.
Those small and sometimes unimportant things around us look much bigger than what they are in reality.
But what is the reality? Isn't it actually defined by our perspective or the perspective of the other observers? Is there a real reality? Or "absolute reality"? Probably there is not such concept. Does a place even exist if there is nobody to confirm and witness and be present to it? I am sure the philosophers have answers to these questions. Or at least, disputes. I've heard about Schrödinger's cat, yeah :)
You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. For me, there are as many realities as there are people on earth. And yet - reality is such a fragile concept that I always compare it to the footprint of a shoe/one step on the beach (like your beautiful picture above - I love it) - you have barely set foot, and a wave comes and erases everything, changes everything. Because everything flows and everything changes.
And your magical photos above... they speak for themselves about reality and life. No words needed.
