Nontypical Rome, a not-so-short visual story

(Edited)

Greetings, lovers of photography and travel.

Today I am presenting to the eyes of the curious hivers a selection of photos I took during our photo-trip to Rome, Italy, The Eternal City.

However, I am intentionally avoiding the usual cliché of publishing its famous pieces of architecture and the crowds in the old central part. Instead, I am going to share few frozen moments, places and emotions from various less known or totally unknown to the large audience locations within this glorious city.

Enjoy and let me know what do you see in these images, if they touch you somehow. :)

Awesome pictures from awesome hidden places, @lightcaptured! One cannot feel a city if one does not wander into its small side streets and get lost in its not so popular places not crowded with tourists.
You evoked with this post so many memories. I also love to walk in these unpopular but so cozy, hiding so much history streets of Rome. Great shots! I love them!

Hi buddy, been a while I drop by.
Rome has always been known with these kinds of structures. Always a unique way which is different from other cities around the globe.

More so, the areas you've showed us is not populated. I love it that way.
Thank you for sharing.
