Glacier Awesomeness

Greetings, friends!

A recent trip through a mountain with frozen lakes reminded me of the awesome beauty of some of the glaciers I saw on my photo-travel to Iceland.

I was thinking back then, apart from being a source for crystal water, photographs and creativity :) they are probably a good source for science researches as they have those layers of white, blue, grey and black ice, probably due to the climate and volcanic activities.

No doubt, they are pretty cool even for the naked eyes. I could only imagine what would be the feeling the paraglide over those. Not sure it is permitted, though.

Probably anyone knows?
