Al menos en lo que respecta a la primera división, ocurrieron muchas cosas, desde los ruidos definitorios en el estadio hasta el regreso del hijo pródigo a casa tras 12 años de ausencia. La temporada de algunos equipos ha ido de menos a más en poco tiempo, mientras que otros han luchado por mantener su reputación intacta.
El fichaje de Ronaldo por el Manchester united fue todo un revulsivo para la premier league teniendo en cuenta que volvían a casa, donde empezó el camino al estrellato. Tras más de 48 horas coqueteando con el rival de los red devils, muchos esperaban que acabara en el Man city, pero un cambio de opinión en el último momento hizo que volviera a casa. Su fichaje ya ha supuesto un repunte en las redes sociales del Manchester united y en su valor, pero los títulos son el deseo de los red devils.
Mientras que la llegada de Ronaldo podría haber beneficiado al Man united, su ausencia se está notando actualmente en la Juventus, ya que CR7 se llevó sus goles del club. The world of football was as lively as I remember it this last week, they were periods of anger, joy, and regrets. At least for the premier league, a lot happened ranging from the defining noises at the stadium to the prodigal son finally returning home after 12 years of being away. Some teams season has gone from worse to bad in a short period while others fought to keep their reputation intact.
The signing of Ronaldo to the Manchester united club was a whole mood lifter for the premier league considering the fact that they came home to where the road to stardom started. After hours of flirting with the red devils rival for over 48 hours, many expected him to end up at Man city but a change of heart at the final minute saw him came home. His signature has already seen an upturn in Manchester united social media presence and value, but titles are what is the red devil's desire.
While Ronaldo arrival might have benefitted Man united, his absence is currently been felt at Juventus as CR7 took his goals away from the club. Losing to newly promoted side Empoli on Sunday gave the coach [Allegeri] more questions about how he plans to take the club forward. The striker leaving might have helped the club save some money paid on wages, but the club value has drastically reduced as their shares price has fallen.
Despite missing out on Ronaldo and Kane, Man City has shown that they have enough firepower in their tanks and could still win games. Man blue still are unable to add another striker to their squad but the team has done well to win games well without much hassle. Their last two games have seen them score 10 goals with five coming this week against Arsenal. That shows the quality of the players on their side.
Arsenal lost their third game in a role in the premiership, and they are yet to register a single goal in the premiership this season. Their season went from bad to worse as they lost by five goals to nil against a Manchester City side who are even without their best players on the field and that shows how lacking this gunner’s side are. Despite making over 6 additions to the team and spending the most money in the transfer market, no improvement has been noticed and that keeps the Head coach [Arteta] on the hot seat
As things went bad for the Gunners team, their city rival has started on a top-notch under their current coach as they made it three wins out of three to top the league table while Arsenal is last on the same table. A goal from Son marking his 200th appearance in the premiership won the coach his overall fourth game as head coach of the club. The other good news was Harry Kane making his full debut this season as he played from start to finish.
The clash of the titan’s match between Liverpool and Chelsea ended as each team shares the spoil. A 1-1 draw was the result of the match many expected more from but a red card to Chelsea player [ James] changed the dynamic of the game. From and an exciting attacking affair in the first half to a one-sided affair after the red card in the second half. Chelsea although showed their defensive powers and see that Liverpool was unable to add to the penalty goal scored.
In the wake of Ronaldo signing for the red devils, a lot was expected from the man united squad in other to complement the talent that is about to turn up for this side. That was accomplished on Sunday as Man United found a way to see past their stubborn opponents with a goal from Greenwood to take the club back to winning ways after dropping points against the Saints in their last match.
Messi made his first appearance for PSG as he was brought from the bench to play against Stade last night. Although he didn’t score a goal, he never put the wrong foot to the end of the match. Goals from Mbappe sealed the win for the team as they kept their first clean sheet for this season. Neymar made way for Messi and the approval from the fans was resounding as they rejoice due to one of the greatest players turning out for their side.
