Doug Casey is NOT an anarchocapitalist, I explain why!

I assume he is speaking the truth when he say that his wife is a lawyer:

I also go over why Jeff Berwick is not an anarchocapitalist.

I think being an "anarcho-capitalist" often means being philosophically divergent from the system in which most of us are forced to live. So being married to a lawyer-- or even being a lawyer-- doesn't necessarily expel you from the AC camp... our participation in society doesn't automatically make us WILLING PARTICIPANTS. If Jeff Berwick is able to live comfortably off the fruits of his peer-to-peer currency, and he is trying to encourage others to do the same: to cut the strings to corporate and political bureaucracy, govern ourselves and live a more simple, self-sustained life... then I believe he IS an anarcho-capitalist (or some version of it).

I can agree to an extend, I think its a choice to not engage in statism to the maximum ability, in order to live according to the none aggression principal. Examples: Being a lawyer or marriaged to a laywer is being so much part of the statism system, that one would not qualify to be an anarchocapitalist. On the other end of the spectrum, then buying a liter milk from the supermarket (that en-hear to statism laws, pay tax and stuff like that) and paying rent, but living of creating or investing in real cryptocurrencies (not scams), you are as close to being an anarchocapitalist as possible.

Jeff is running a newsletter, a conference and providing free videos. It looks a lot to me like he is pumping his own bags via the newsletter, conference and videos, so its pump and dump activity, which is a scam and violating the none aggression principal. (not to mention that he is married to a woman that kidnap a child via the corrupt statism/state).

If you decide to spend most of your life working inside the system or scamming other people, then you are not an anarchocapitalist.

He pumps, but what has he dumped? He was pumping BTC at $10... and now he's been pumping $ARRR since $0.10 and he's not selling it. Thinking #PirateChain is a PAD because it went from $16 down to $6 is just pure #FUD. (Have you looked at $ARRR's tech?) I'm sure a lot of people happily sold their BTC at $16 too and did quite well... and the FUD would roll through after each correction.

I'd be more apt to believe you... but I already know from experience: I couldn't convince anybody in my life anything having to do with cryptocurrencies, while I slowly turned around $5K into close to $60K. I hold $ARRR, but I am not a subscriber to Jeff's Vigilante stuff. I catch his videos sometimes (just for disclosure). I saw the same scammer warnings at the time about the online personalities who personally helped me make good choices. So I just judge each book as I read it myself.

I really appreciate these conversations though, and all perspectives are valuable. There isn't enough chatter like this on these platforms. So thanks! :)

I make the point that Jeff started with pumping penny stocks on his website back in the day, he actually told that, which in itself is a pump and dump scheme and its the same he does now, just that you have to pay $15 to get his "valuable information" which I believe mostly are that they buy up some coins cheap then write about it, then dump later.

Yes he mentioned Bitcoin a 1000 times, like many others. I dont have anything against his advocacy for cryptocurrency, I do the same, I just think that his information often is wrong and that he sell it like he is somekind of jesus. As I also said in my next video.

I am a 8 year believer in cryptocurrencies!

About Piratechain, then I think its just a simple piracy coin, not bringing a lot new to the table (It could moon a lot more of-course, but I just think HEX and pulsechain is much better, who knows?)and a good example of him and his crew pumping their bags.

No one knows the future, I dont have a crystal ball and Jeff dont have a crystal ball. He made many wrong calls over the years, forinstance Silver where nothing happened, he pushed it for hours in many videos 1-2 year ago. Did he recommend HEX which is the best appreciating crypto in 2020? I dont think so, then again I dont know, since I dont buy his BS newsletter!
