I'm glad you decided to stay indoors in the bitter cold you describe. There's nothing like being warm in the house when it's that cold outside. Besides, sharing a day of pancakes and a shower with the family sounds like a perfect plan. Here in Venezuela, even though we don't have such extreme weather, we know how to appreciate those moments of family togetherness.
