Alien fossil sketch

The process for this started with laying down a rough shape with a cotton ball and black pastel chalk, I then use a cotton bud to refine the shapes before using Staedtler Mars black pencils. (4B,8B)
To finish the drawing I use a Derwent charcoal pencil, and an eraser for any highlights.

All sketches are done on an A5 drawing pad.

I took the photo's with a Samsung galaxy M31 smart phone, then I crop the images using Sony play memories home
as I have not learned any other software for editing photo's but used it for video for a while.

A piece where shadows and reliefs are perfectly combined, resulting in a different and interesting drawing, as it could be an alien fossil. Thanks, @kevmcc
