Wearing the wrong shoes at a semi formal event? Happened to me too. At least I was color matched wearing black sports sneakers. It would be worse if I wore a fine glamorous outfit to play a basketball game, Lol! 🏀
Yes, our workspace should be adapted such that we can best feel focused in our thoughts, our writing, and to fully express ourselves.

It would certainly be worse to play in heels ha,ha,ha,ha. I don't want to imagine it.
Only if the other team is wearing the same. It'd be a short game though.
