It is so surprising to me knowing facebook will officially changed to Meta soon that's really a wow for me, but not withstanding, it might be a good thing in the future. So the question is what could have caused the change of name, well most people said it was because of the case that the whistleblower brought up and that really gave a bad impression about facebook.

Some other people said it is because he wants to hide he's dirty deeds, so that he won't lose he's worth, it was also said that facebook was hacked and that is why he is trying to change name, but the real truth is the company has a vision which warranted them to change its name from facebook to Meta. It was said that the company perceived growth opportunities beyond it's social media platform.

Facebook has a plan of distinguishing it's myriad body from social media network. Its name metaverse was originated from when Facebook faced an intense criticism from lawmakers even though the namesake was drawn from there, the main purpose for this name was because they saw a bigger vision.
