At My Work Place We Observed The Eid el Maulud By Closing Earlier Today

I thank God for this new day, am up from bed at 5:30a.m. Went through my messages and fell back asleep then I woke again at 6:34a.m. Stepped into the bathroom had my underwear washed, my teeth brushed and showered. I was done with all this stepped out of the bathroom straight to the bedroom, I brought out my work clothes, I wore them and was ready for work, Today marks the birth of Prophet Mohammed which is called Eid el Maulud, normally it is supposed to be observed by having a public holiday, but we were asked to resume at the office.

After getting ready for work, I stepped out of my gate and walked down to the place where the woman sells pastries and i got myself doughnuts and took a bike from that spot to my work place. I got to the office and i noticed that everywhere was quiet and scanty and the security was like no work today, which I disagreed because a message was sent across for we all too resume, and I walked into the office, said a quick prayer and began to eat my doughnuts for breakfast.

Some hours later my boss stepped in and then i was fully convinced that the messages passed across was legit, my boss came in at 11:00a.m. And he began with meetings immediately he sat on he’s chair. It was meeting after meeting and today we are told to close by 2:00p.m. Because of the Eid el Maulud.

It is almost 2p.m. And my boss kept having visitors for meeting and i also was busy delivering messages to other office from my boss, It was now time 2:00 sharp and my boss was like let us call it a day ladies and gentlemen and i began to park he’s belongings. I was done moving he’s belongings to the car and he drove off immediately and I myself packed up my things and was off home.
