The Chelsea last season joint top scorer had to make this move due to the inability of enough game time and the arrival of Romelu Lukaku further dented his chances.

The striker now joins former manager Jose Mourinho who heads the Italian Club. The deal for the 23 Year old football player is a five contract that ties the player at the club. The deal also includes a buy back for 68 million pounds.

Abraham on the completion of his move had this to say to the press;

Roma is a club that deserves to be fighting for titles and trophies. I've had the experience of winning major trophies and I want to be in those competitions again - so I want to help this team to achieve that and get to the level where Roma should be.

The talented striker will be wearing the number 9 on his jersey. Congratulations to Tammy Abraham and As Roma on this deal

Guess you are excited with the move. Nice seeing Tammy move out for more playing time. He deserves to be a starter on any and not a second fiddle. We all deserve to grow and develop. I commend him for making such bold decision. I hope to see him thrive at his new Club. Best wishes to him

Yeah I also believe it is the right one to make for a young player who intend to become more famous in his profession. The Italian club offers him more playing and challenges which could help discover his best potentials. I someone see him like another Romelu Lukaku in the making or even more considering what he is doing at the age of 23. Best wishes also to young English football player.

Yeah the London Club Chelsea didnt afford him enough playing chance he would have loved and wanted just like any young would have. I don't blame him for switching and taking the offer. In Roma, I believe he will indeed shine more brighter under the tutelage of the special one Jose Mourinho.

Yeah. I believe as Roma are indeed wise to have grabbed the young talented player at such a time. I think I will be prove quite of a good bargain after seeing the performance he was able to give for the Chelsea Football Club before his departure. Him uniting with forner manager and Coach makes it even more exciting. He truly talented and may as well have just gotten to podium to announce himself to the world. I also see him injecting more excitement to the Roma attack line.

It's painful to see Abraham go,
I think he should be loan instead.

this just another mistake just like that of lukaku...

Yeah. It must be sad for many of Stamford bridge supporters seeing one of their favourite young attack leave on buy out contract not even a loan. I also think loaning him would have been the better option. The London club However inject a buy back clause for the player. Not so sure on how they intend to see him return. I guess we Will see how that works in the near future though. Think we will be seeing the Romelu Lukaku situation has the club would most likely want have him back but a higher price should he develop much more better.

Yeah it's the right player for as Roma. He is certainly right to seek enough playing time are more competition. Having achieved most of his dreams already. A move outside was a great one for him to build legacy for himself which I believe he would do at this new club.

What a great move, I just hope he performs better in Roma, because he wasn't doing well in Chelsea, Maybe because he wasn't always featured..

I wish him luck...

Yeah, amazing switch, good for the player and his new Club. I guess the limited game play at Chelsea didnt enable him to perform the way he would have loved to. Been joint goal scorer in the previous season showed he still did great despite his lack of game time. Believe he well do much better under a more favorable situation which I believe the Italian club will offer. Best wishes to him also. Hope to see thrive at his new Club

Definitely I want to agree with you on this ,but I also want to sat that lack of consistent and limited number of chance given on the field of play too is part of his problem, but it is good to see that he as moved on

True been limited to amount of game time can only let a player become inconsistent in his performance. I don't also think he did any badly at Chelsea because he was the joint top scorer. Few games played and more goals only showed he retained and always had that quality for goals. I believe him moving just means he may not be getting along with new coach Thomas tuchel the reason he opted to move back to his former coach new Club

honestly true Chelsea fans will really miss him. he is a fantastic player nursed by Chelsea. i wish him best of luck in his new career that he is just embarking on.

he is a great player that i feel the price that Chelsea claim on him really worth the value. but the reason why i am happy is the buy back clause that Chelsea place on his sales.

He will surely be missed looking at his contribution to the club during the time he featured for them. The Chelsea youth system truly developed him to who he currently his. The sell price was indeed a decent one considering his current market value. The London was indeed smart this around with the inclusion of the back in the agreement of the contract. Hopefully he develops much better and returns to the club in the future. Also wish him the best in his new football career endeavor.

Definitely mate and I want to say that he as gotten some nice moment too at the stamford bridge.and I want to say that the Nigeria born England international will try to repay the faith that the special one as kept in him as he as switch to rome for next football season

Is he truly nigerian-born? That aside he truly had some amazing time at the Chelsea Football Club one in which the fans won't soon forget, him personally also wouldn't forget. It was a great one for him to move considering he started his playing career at the club. It was the only move here to make to become better and I commend him for that.

I also believe he will do all his best to repay all that his former coach and now new coach Jose Mourinho seem to have placed on him by bringing him into the Italian Club. I believe is more motivated more than ever to show the quality inn which is made up of. I hope to see him develop to a better striker in which he truly his.

It a nice move for him which the player needed playing time for his carrier and Chelsea no want that for that's why they let him go to Roman
Good luck for him for his new face of carrier

Exactly. It's a right move for a player who seem to want to develop much better. Having enough game time is also good for the confidence of every player. Lack of it will plunder the performance. They reason I am glad the player took the right move for his career. Other player may be okay been a Chelsea player who languish on the bench. Playing second fiddle doesn't seem good for a good player like Tammy Abraham. Best wishes to him
