Dog in a Blanket (Freewrite Challenge)

Just a few months ago when many of us are shivering from cold. Wearing double clothes, dogs are in a blanket, air conditioners and electric fans are off. Even in tropical countries like in our country, we can feel the cold. It van get tiring at times, but we miss such temperature today.

It's actually summertime in our country. Temperature is pretty high. The weather bureau warned the high temperature will continue, and that a drop may be unlikely these days. The highest temperature in the country ranges around 36-37 degrees Celsius, while the actual heat based on heat index is around 46 or even higher degrees. The peak this year is 51 degrees Celsius, which is exactly where I live.

Rainy season is coming too. We might get those blankets ready too. But it scares me because of the strong rains that can cause floods, as well as winds that can break houses. In 2020, there has been a lot of placed which are badly flooded, with a lot of damages caused by typhoons. Hopefully, it won't be too cruel as we need to have peace of mind after all the saddening events since pandemic started.
