It's been bothering me that the edging around the mailbox has become so weedy, so I made a project out of edging and weeding the area around the mailbox.

It's not a huge job, but very satisfying. Everything looks so much more neat and tidy.

We used to have a thick layer of mulch around the bed, but multiple heavy rains washed them away.

Nextup is getting the bus running again. We managed to drive it home from the transaction, but now that it's home, we can't seem to start it up again. We suspect we have either an under-powered battery or something is wrong with the alternator that it isn't charging the battery.

Even with a jump, I can't seem to get the vehicle started.

We really do not want to tow this to a mechanic, so I'm doing what I can to solve this problem myself. A new battery might work, but it wouldn't be much different than jumping it! If it doesn't start with a jump, a new battery may not be the answer.

Tomorrow is "Labor Day" so many establishments will be closed. Time is short. If I can't get it started by Tuesday, I'll explore additional options.
