We Are Alive! October 24th, 2023 Back Home and Family Visits
Just as soon as we were home from the Festival, family came in from out of town from Florida. My sister, her husband and their three children. Also my other sister and her three little ones (including twins!). That's twelve children (all cousins) together, how proud my parents must be!
The children decided to welcome their cousins by bringing over a big pot of hot chocolate. My oldest daughter served everyone, scooping out cups full of yummy hot chocolate. We topped it with whipped cream... yummy!!!
My dad fired up the gas fire and we warmed ourselves with the fire and the hot chocolate. It felt sort of like our festival was continuing back home!
It was a good day back and there are more activities to look forward to. Fall time is a busy season for us!
