It's the last great day of the festival and the sun is shining. It's still cold, but that didn't stop us from enjoying a fantastic breakfast with everyone!

The biggest surprise was after breakfast, our gracious hosts gifted our family something I had desired for years, but couldn't afford: a large shofar or ram's horn.

It was a pleasure playing this shofar on the Sabbath and the Last Greatest Day of the Festival.

Praise and Worship was amazing, as everyone was celebrating Sabbath and having meaningful conversations. I even blew the Shofar during worship, adding a great sound to the music!

That evening, we spent some time in the clubhouse and taught a few people how to play Settlers of Catan.

That night, the temperature dropped and we fired up the wood stove. We enjoyed an extra 10 - 15 degrees more warmth in our tent, then we would have had to endure otherwise. We ran it until we were tucked in warm in our beds and then we allowed it to burn out.

The next morning, we fired it up again and made hot tea for my wife and reheated some coffee for myself.

My daughter warmed by the wood stove, and she heated up for some toasty warm socks!

Although this completes the festival, we are remaining another full day before departing for home. Many are celebrating the 8th day on Sunday and we are delighted to join in with the celebrations!
