It's not often that my wife and I get to spend a few hours just the two of us, but for our anniversary we visited a nice restaurant. We're not big spenders, but we appreciate what we get and also made sure to get a nice dessert.

We enjoyed each other's company and even after 12 years of marriage, spending most of that time together, we still haven't run out of things to talk about.

We are excited about the next 12 years and many years beyond. Back when we got married in 2011, I never would have expected the world to look like this in 2023, I bet we wouldn't even recognized the world of 2035! This is the world that our children will have to interact with, as sojourners. So we do what we can now to train them up, setting good examples for them to live in the authority of the Most High and His goodness.

We are thankful for every day of life, each day another passing of the sun as we not only survive, but thrive! There are major challenges, but I am confident that if we walk in faith, we will be alright.
