We Are Alive! May 1st, 2022
Today our children are still recovering, but enjoyed some time outside. My littlest one enjoyed the sandbox for the first time. Our plans were derailed by this illness, but instead of scrapping them, I went to the event by myself. It was very strange not having my normal family entourage with me, but it was an opportunity for lots of good conversations with people.

Good that you went out by yourself, sometimes it's needed to do it, even though I believe it was very strange for you to go without your family. Next time! And good to hear that there is recovery now!
We are grateful for bodies that heal. Yes it was strange to go to a social event without my family. At one point, I was holding my jacket in my arms and for a split second marveled that my child was so light! LOL.
