It's Prep Day

Today is the day we finish up our weekday projects and clean the house to prepare the the Sabbath. It snowed last night, so we woke up to a few inches covering everything. Thankfully it's warm so much of the snow is already melted.

Much of the cleaning is actually straightening. Cleaning surfaces, putting things away, picking things up off the floor. It's tiring, since we are outnumbered 3:1. Our younger children are uncleaners, while we are cleaning. Our older children are better at helping us get thing ready for a day of rest.

The table is looking much better, although we still don't have the final coat put on, or the wax final coat. We also have to paint the extensions. But the dining area looks much cleaner with a solid white table instead of the 'distressed' blue and white.

It's been a busy day, although I was able to get some curating and a post in today, along with some hive-engine token management. It feels like this week went by so quickly!
