We Are Alive! June 5th, 2023 Cleaning and Painting

After a full day, we had dinner and visited a home that Lauren's family owns. The previous tenant had children and they left behind a lot of things that need cleaning. I took on the bathroom upstairs. Scrubbing mystery stains off of the woodwork with magic eraser.

Lauren did some painting up high on the ladder.

My brother-in-law was painting the stairs.

It's always pleasant working with Lauren's family. There's always good conversations and singing, guaranteed.

Hello my friend! 😊

I've gone through a few boxes of those Magic Eraser sponges here, while our children were growing up, they are fantastic!

Music, singing and/or humming always makes tasks go better, at least for me. I don't notice time going by while doing things if I've got some good music playing in the background, something that makes you want to be moving, upbeat and energetic music. Lately I've been putting on Christian Workout Music whenever I'm cleaning or baking, which is every day, except Saturday, we just relax on the Sabbath, but I still listen to music and sing or hum along with the singer. 😊

Always !luv reading your comments! I absolutely agree that music or singing makes a task go by quicker. When I was told how long we were there, I was surprised because it went by so quickly!
