We are Alive! June 3rd, 2024
Another day of door knocking and the weather was warm. I got a bit sweaty on this one.
Every so often i come across a "wildlife preserve" home, thats supposed to reflect the natural plantlife of the area. To me it just looks like an overgrown lawn.
Ifind it funny coming across creatuve "no soluciting" signs. Sone homes and occupants are best left alone.

Bless the Most High!
Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Ha! That's a funny sign - tired of hiding the bodies. We have a "natural" lawn as well - mostly so our cow will have grass to eat. Well, our whole neighborhood is "natural." I like the look of the flowers in the lawn. Do they have to have permission to let it go natural or can anyone do it? I know HOA's probably wouldn't like that kind of thing...
I've been collecting interesting "no soliciting" signs as I visit various neighborhoods. So far, I have no gunshot wounds.
I actually like the "natural" lawn, it just looks funny and out of place when all the neighbors have their trimmed short and carefully landscaped. I'm pretty sure you have to register with the city to do this, otherwise they'd get fined for not maintaining their property. There is a sign in the front, explaining why their yard looks so... natural.
An HOA would never tolerate this sort of thing, not for a moment. They would take a lawn mower to that yard in a single heartbeat, sign or no sign.
Yeah, they would mow it and then evict you! We had a friend in the Dallas area who put in a year-round green grass that doesn't take much water. His HOA made him take it out and replace it with the grass that turns brown and dies during the winter. Crazy! I bet you do see some interesting signs. What kind of door to door sales do you do?
It's political campaigning, my job is to encourage people to vote and encourage which way to vote. It's an hourly job, I get about 15 - 20 doors knocked per hour.
Ah ok, nice! Probably good exercise and I bet you get to talk to a lot of interesting people.

Benjamin, thank you for your support & Hive a great day!
