It was dinner and fireworks, a pleasant evening with the entire family.

The children made home-made swords and were playing some sort of game with them.

They were mostly attacking trees, because they didn't want to attack their siblings!

My boy Moses is enjoying the sunshine and the green grass.

We visited a playground for a while and my children practiced climbing and swinging.

As the evening progressed and it began to get dark, we got out the glow sticks. The children had a lot of fun with them! And we shared them with our fellow fireworks watchers!

Perfect timing, and ice-cream truck showed up playing Super Mario Brothers music.

At 10:00 PM the fireworks show began and it was spectacular!

We spent four hours in the park for a 20 minute fireworks show, but it was worth it for the good location and easy exit. Last year, we didn't get home until 1 AM because of the traffic inside the park. This year we were home before 11. Some very tired children!
