Today has been a very restful day. Although one of our children are not feeling well, it seems to pass quickly. We have another camping trip scheduled in a few days, I hope we are well to enjoy it!

We are remembering a recent trip to the zoo and my daughter is fascinated with birds.

The neat thing is in the aviary, we can get up close to the birds without any trouble.

One curious bird got up close and personal with my camera phone! Maybe he was showing off!

Looks like the kids had a great time. I used to take my son frequently to aquariums and aviaries, they're great places for learning.

An excellent idea taking your family out to the zoo. I appreciate the photos of those beautiful birds especially, the first and second photo, I guess that could be a parrot. I still can't identify the other bird.
