During the power outage, I visited a department store with my daughter to return an Amazon purchase. One of the "perks" of returning Amazon purchases is that the receipt gives a 20% off coupon. We visited the Lego area to see what they were selling and my daughter instantly saw MINECRAFT Legos. She said that Daniel would really like that set. I picked it up and we brought it to the checkout and applied the discount... but the lady there said toys were excluded. Hmmm...

So I got on my phone and checked Amazon and they sold it at the same price as if we got 20% off, so I ordered it so it would arrive before the weekend. I did arrive and I hid the package in my office.

After breakfast, I had the children open the package and they were both surprised and happy: it was Legos and not only legos... MINECRAFT legos! It's their two favorite things!

All of the children enjoyed putting together the sets and they had a lot of fun playing with them once it was all put together.

It was a fun and relaxing day off!
