We Are Alive! December 22nd, 2023 Eye Patch
During our visit to the chiropractor, we inquired about our daughter's eyesite. Her eyes are skipping as she's tracking words while reading. It was determined that she has a weak eye and some muscle tension that is causing some issues with her sight.
One solution is to patch one of her eyes, so she can strengthen the weaker of her eyes. Mamma made her a special eye patch that she wears just a short time to help her see better.
She is demonstrating a good attitude over wearing this on her eye. We are very happy with her cheerfulness while we do what we can to help her track words better.

Oh my - poor kid @ironshield! I feel for her. When I was in kindergarten my left eye crossed and I couldn't see out of it much. It was bad and A year later the eye doctor put a patch over my good eye, but I couldn't see at all to read out of the bad eye it was all blurry. It was painful too. I sat and cried on my dad's bed. He was gone on business and my mom was in the mental hospital. I sort of know how she feels and hope her vision isn't as bad as mine was. I know your daughter has you, mom, and siblings to help her through this. I'm praying for her to get well. I got an operation after 4 years I think or 5 years - finally to correct my left eye muscle. It helped alot.
