We Are Alive! August 31st, 2022 An Evening Walk
We had an early dinner and decided afterwards to go for a walk around the point. The children brought their scooters and had fun rolling around ahead of us.
We came to the water and the children enjoyed exploring a little.
When we reached the point, we stacked some rocks.
We could see the skyline of Detroit from where were were walking. It's over 20 miles away.
On the way back, we saw a blue heron.
Children played ball near the basket ball courts.
We walked the board walk back to near our car.

Of course I counted the rocks....as my rock stacking tendency always chooses 12! What a wonderful outing for the family. How they are flourishing @ironshield
Our littlest one was crawling around in the bushes, so the rock stacking didn't get as high as it would have. It was an enjoyable walk, and good practice traveling some distance. I'm pleased also to see children flourish. I hope all is well with you and your family!
