I have never made apple sauce and have no idea how to do it

It's crazy simple if you have a sauce maker. Just cut up whole apples and cook them down until they are soft, then scoop the mushy apples into the mill and the apples sauce flows down like an apple water fall and the solids (skins, stems, seeds) go out the other side.

I have a year supply of water in and food in my home, and they call me paranoid

Never paranoid to be prepared, it's when people find themselves unprepared that things become difficult.
