With all of it's beautiful imperfections, this token gleams in 925 sterling silver with a perfect patina. It's the only silver token I own that has @ironshield inscribed on it. How cool is that! It's personalized! I got to watch a video on how it was made.
I found an opportunity for an inexpensive lightbox that I can use for photography. Of course the first items I photegraph are not ebay items, but I'd like 2023 to be the year of ebay for me, selling off extra toys and such for some extra cash.
But not my grand-prize token, that's staying with me.
I practiced various techniques to get an optimal photo. The difficulty is that to get a close-up, my phone creates a shadow over the object. So I have to crop off the shadow.
I am very pleased with how the photos are turning out. I'm hoping for a lot more practice photographing sale items and photographing coins for blogs. With a little more practice, I may master it yet!

I could use a proper light box rig instead of my improved one.
How do you like this one? I have one that's a cube but not everything fits inside it that I want to photo. This one seems like it would have more possibilities.
