Picked Up Some Silver From My LCS
I picked up some AG from a local coin store, silver nickles, two Canadian silver quarters and a Canadian silver dime.
I found a 2000 and 2021 modern nickel and added it to the stack just for the fun of it.
Little nickel collection. It's amazing how the silver nickels have a very different color from the other coins.
It was a fun little purchase. They came in the paper/plastic coin holder, but I threw them away. I like to feel the coins in my hand!
Have you had any recent trips to the coin store?

Bless the Most High!

Sweet, the 1968 25 Cents is 50% silver but the 1967 25 Cents is 80% silver. 👍
Good to know, thank you.
I haven't really been to any coin stores and I think the coins having different colors is neat.

I agree!
Thanks again for sharing the real Money, ironshield - @ironshield. Yes, the modern, five cents, US nickel, is real Money, too. And still in current circulation, but drying up fast.
Real money is right. If the world production of metal comes to a halt, the easiest metal to come by (legal or not) will be coins like these!
real money! feels gooooood! :)

Nice little score there, Benjamin.
I like the look of older coins, the wear on them lets you know they have been many places.
Your silver stockpile continues to grow. Way to go.
I like how the older coins look and feel, especially the quarters, dimes, and nickles.
Nice haul at the local shop.
Thanks for sharing.
Love this post. I am a note collector so I focus more on the notes. Sadly i dont really collect coin because note has serial number which makes each note unqiue in a way.
Happy you found some keepsakes - silver is the real deal.
