My Passion for Life on the Blockchain

My life does not consist only of blockchain blog posts or comments, or games or investments - but it is an aspect of my life that I both enjoy and am passionate about. Perhaps it's beneficial for me and my family, or perhaps it's a drain of time and mental resources, but I believe in the end it will work out very nicely and be worth it eventually.

My Passion for Life in the Real World

In real-life my passions are simple: devotion to the Most High and His Son at His Right Hand, devotion to my wife and family, devotion to helping others who are in need. It's not complicated and it is based on the foundation that I live my life upon.

The Foundation

Living is something that is taken for granted by many people - however life is a gift that should never go unappreciated. The model of ALIVE and THRIVING is the result of a firm foundation, upon which many great things can be done. If you want to know the foundation, I repeat it every post I make. If for some reason the thriving is halted and life is put in jeopardy, it's not the fault of the foundation, but on what is build upon the foundation. Are we anxious? Are we moody? Are we depressed? This is a sign that we must strengthen ourselves in the foundation. Are we confident, are we faithful, are we gifted, are we strengthened? This is a sign that our foundation is producing good fruit in our lives!

What Drives Me on HIVE?

There are several things that drive me, compels me to continue posting and curating daily:

1. The opportunity to show the fruit of living a godly life. My belief in God is foundational in my life, it was laid by Jesus Christ, whom I'm not ashamed to give credit to every post. There are troubles and difficulties, but for every difficulty there is an amazing blessing that more than makes up for it. I am commanded to not hide my light under a bushel, but let the light shine. The blockchain offers an opportunity to do this in a manner that will remain as long as the internet remains.

2. The opportunity to meet with and interact with a fascinating community. There is such a wide variety of regions, perspectives, faiths and lifestyles that differ from mine. I have no problem interacting with and sharing with a variety of people. While I am very narrow-minded (I'm ok with that), I'm also not a judge to those who differ from me in opinion or belief. My beliefs are such that the vast majority would disagree with me and probably laugh hysterically (I'm ok with that too). If I had met myself of today, back 20 years ago, I would have been laughing hysterically too. I mean c'mon, this dude's got six kids, a beard and drives a shuttle bus, who is this wacko? This wacko enjoys encouraging others, building others up and helping others (in a small and slow way) with 100% upvotes 100% of the time for manually curated posts. Yes my VP is rarely above 50%, but it's not about efficiency for me, it's about generosity.

3. The opportunity to grow financially. I believe in the HIVE ecosystem and I believe at some point everyone will recognize it's abilities. There will naturally be demand for this token, especially as the artificial fiats of the world become worth less... and less. I feel that stocking up in physical assets (like precious metals) and in virtual assets (like crypto) is a wise investment, especially during these unstable times.

Conclusion

This has been an overview of my passion for living in this current age. The truth is that even the blockchain is not eternal, but in Heaven there is an eternal scroll recording everything we do, think, say and feel. It's called "The scroll of Life" and it's critical that our names not be blotted out.

What wages have we stored up? Good wages or evil wages? Reward or punishment? That is not for me to judge, but it's for me to be a "do-er of the word, and not a hearer only". It's also my job to teach this concept to my children and to not be ashamed to talk about this even to people who do not want to hear it. I didn't want to hear it at first either!

This is my passion for LIFE, that we fulfill the whole duty of man, live out the word of God, not remain silent of the Savior, work diligently for the benefit of others, store up treasure in Heaven, be steadfast in faith, build up wealth (not riches) and value what you have in contentment.

Hold loosely the things of this world and cling tightly to the Word of God for it is your LIFE. You will be rewarded with what you need in this world, if you are diligent in seeking first the Reign of God and His righteousness.

Choose blessings and life that you may live and make it your passion! We are ALIVE and THRIVING!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
