It comes in a very nice box, well presented. Complete with certificate of authenticity, the eagle from the US seal, in a deep royal blue box. It's the 2005 US Marines Commemorative Dollar coin, honoring the 230th year anniversary of the service.

Opening this feels like the original unboxing, years ago.

The silver eagle on the front is impressive all on it's own.

The obverse features the raising of the US flag on Iwo Jima, with the phrase "In God We Trust" and "LIBERTY" and also "Marines 1775 2005"

The reverse has the Seal of the US Marines with the motto "Semper Fidelis" meaning "always faithful". Also features "E Pluribus Unum" meaning "From many, one" and "United States of America", missing the definite article "The", which is required, as the US is not a singular State, but United States.

This coin was minted in Philadelphia, with the "P" mintmark. The denomination of ONE DOLLAR is listed on the bottom.
