My First Login to Dungeon Cities

There's a new game in town called Dungeon Cities. It's a text-based dungeon crawler with opportunities to complete quests, gain experience, gain in-game currency and to THRIVE!

Getting familiar with this new text-based HIVE game. Exciting prospects and opportunities here. The old dungeon crawlers are fun to play.

The in-game currency is called DRUPPLE and it's set at 0.05 HIVE each. However for the intro session of the game, it's selling for 0.01 HIVE each.

Good opportunity to stack these tokens before the game fully launches.

I purchased 100 DRUBBLE from tribaldex and transfer it to my game account.

All the low-end equipment is cheap! The high-end equipment is super-expensive!!! Like stupid expensive.

Yes you read that correctly, it's 4.25 Million DRUBBLE for this "Shadowbloom Guard". That's about $75K - $100K USD. Ummm.... ok. Forget a LAMBO, buy a Shadowbloom Guard!

So Far So Good

There is a little bit of a learning curve, but so far it's pretty straight-forward. To enter the dungeons, you have to purchase a KEY, which is $5.00 USD.

IF DRUBBLE is sold for 0.05 HIVE, your entry fee KEY price will have been paid back with about 300 DRUBBLE, earned from defeating enemies and completing quests.

Hmmmm, I saw a mention of this one the other day but not sure it suits me. Seems like a reasonable "get started" price at about 5 or 6 HBD. What's the game-play like? Is it like, do a couple tasks then wait until they cooldown to do them again? Or more open ended, just do stuff until you don't want to any longer? Maybe do a game-play post ;)

Welp, played around a bit more and discovered it's pretty much not ready for game play, I think it may have been released too early as very critical attributes are not functioning yet. The dev is scrambling to get things working, I think in a few weeks we'll have a playable game.

We will have to show some patience while it gets on it's feet. Problems are acknowledged and being resolved. Communication is key.

I wouldn't bother at the moment, waste of $5.
There is no gameplay and not much text to read(it's a text game)
You are basically naked and unarmed walking in a dungeon, too weak to fight, and run out of stamina in a couple of minutes (wait 24 hours to recover/maybe?)

First few ventures were pretty sad. Now that stamina is fixed and we can equip items, it's a lot more fun. !BBH

Yep, still some bugs,
I myself have a new sword, full set of armour and even an earring.
Hopefully, the game will improve with time.

I still think they should add some more background story and have stories/profiles for the monsters
